The Australian animal alphabet cards are beautiful and such a great learning resource when we homeschooled, and will continue to be. Aside from learning about our native wildlife (and inspiring questions for further research), we used the cards for letter and phonetic sound recognition, spelling out words with the cards and as a reference for practicing handwriting.
